House Rules

- Absolutely NO SMOKING inside/outside - No parties or events - Do not engage in any illegal activities on the property - Do not leave food out. Food will attract unwanted pests. - Be sure to maintain a good level of cleanliness throughout your stay, this will make it much easier when check-out time comes! - Keep noise to a minimum during nighttime hours - Maximum occupancy is 12 people. Any additional people must be pre-approved prior to final reservation. Only registered guests (guests that are on the reservation) are allowed at the house. Any visitors must be disclosed and approved by me. - No Food, Candy or Drinks in Bedrooms. - Please do not move any furniture, indoor or outdoor, during your stay. This includes chairs, picnic tables and any and all furniture in the house. - BBQ Grill downstairs on the patio area only. Grilling on the deck is prohibited and against Galveston County ordinance. - BBQ Grill is provided. You provide the charcoal and you must clean it after use including emptying the cold ashes in a trash bag. Failure to clean the bbq grill is a $50 fine. - Please rinse sand off in the outdoor shower under the house or on any of the available water hoses. Leave sand outside and your sandy shoes on the deck by the front door. - Do not flush feminine hygiene products, or anything other than what is expected to be flushed down the toilet, it will damage the septic system. - Do not pour grease down the drains. - If you violate the septic system policy you will be subject to a fine and pay for any damages to the septic system. - Park only on the driveway. DO NOT PARK UNDER THE HOUSE. Be very careful that you do not hit the pilings with your vehicle. - If something is accidentally broken, let me know ASAP. We understand that accidents occur and things can be broken. If this happens, please contact us so we can replace or repair damaged items. However, if damage occurs due to malicious or careless behavior, responsibility for replacement or repairs may be at renters’ expense. - Please lock doors and windows upon departure. - If guests are asked to leave due to irresponsible and bad behavior, no refund will be given for lost days. - Please keep in mind that this is our home and we ask that you respect it as we would respect yours. - There will no refunds for weather, except mandatory evacuations. In the event of mandatory evacuation, the prorate share of the rental charge will be refunded. - There will be no refund or rebates given due to the malfunctioning or breakdown of appliances, air conditioning, or any other property equipment or services. When notified of an appliance issue, we will respond and work to rectify the issue as quickly as possible. - We are not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illnesses that occur while on the premises, nor are the owners responsible for loss or damage of personal property of renters. - By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all renters are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premises. Homeowner is not responsible for any accidents, injuries, or illness that may occur while on the premises or its facilities. - The beaches at Crystal Beach have no lifeguards on duty. Swimming is at visitor’s own risk.

Please remember that you are staying in our home, not a hotel. Please treat the space with respect. There is no one on site 24/7. If any problems arise, we will do our best to take action as soon as possible. Please ensure you and your guests read and fully understand the house rules at the beginning of your stay. By following these rules, you can ensure that your vacation goes off without a hitch. Please familiarize yourself with our expectations. Friendly reminder - your reservation implies that you agree to these terms. Failure to follow them may result in additional charges or a canceled reservation with no refund. So, let's make sure everyone has an awesome beach vacation! • Maximum occupancy is 12 people. Any additional people must be pre-approved prior to final reservation. • Grill downstairs only on the patio area only. Grilling on the deck is prohibited and against Galveston County ordinance. • Important! BRING BUG SPRAY!!! Mosquitos are notoriously bad at Crystal Beach. • When returning from the beach, please rinse sand off in the sand shower under the house or on any of the available water hoses. Leave your sandy shoes on the deck. Sandy beach towels have a place to hang downstairs. • Sensitive Septic System! Do not flush feminine hygiene products, or anything other than what is expected to be flushed down the toilet, it will damage the septic system. Flush only toilet paper and no sanitary products, tissues, wipes, hair, cotton balls, etc. • Please be kind to the drain. Do not pour grease down the drains. • Park on driveway only. No parking on grass. Be careful that you do not hit the pilings with your vehicle. • Accidents happen. Let us know ASAP if something is accidentally broken. We will look into the issue internally to decide if and how much the deduction of repair cost will be. • Please lock doors and windows upon departure and return key to lock box. • If guests are asked to leave due to irresponsible and bad behavior, no refund will be given for lost days. • If renter must cancel due to tropical storm/hurricane evacuation requirements, full refund will be given. If renter must evacuate during their stay due to tropical storm/hurricane, they will be credited for all days lost. • We are not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illnesses that occur while on the premises, nor are the owners responsible for loss or damage of personal property of renters. • By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all renters are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premises. • The beaches at Crystal Beach have no lifeguards on duty. Swimming is at visitor's own risk. • No smoking/vaping on the property. Accessibility and Availability

Neighborhood

Established neighborhood with easy access to the beach. You will have less than a 5-minute walk or rent a golf cart for beach access. There is no car access to the beach which creates a safer environment for your family. Our home is at the end of the street where you are surrounded with a panoramic view of acreage, a pond and the Gulf. Our subdivision is at Barrel 83.

Guest Access

You will have access to the entire home with the exception of the owners closet, attic and garage. The patio, backyard, and grill are ready for you to start the BBQ and enjoy. The outdoor shower has hot/cold water and is ready for you to wash off the sand before entering the house.

My family and I enjoyed our stay at Reba’s. Wish we could have stayed longer to be honest. The home is equipped with everything you could possibly need. From shot glasses to kids colorful plates to eat and snack on. So well thought out and a beautiful home overall. Would definitely recommend.

Reba was very responsive. The beach house was beautiful. Great for couples or families. Decks were perfect and plenty of parking for multiple cars. Kitchen had it all. Great place.

Find us

To get around on Crystal Beach is best by car. While staying at Fly Freebird Fly you can walk to the beach in about 3 minutes or you can rent a golf cart. Sandpiper subdivision has a private walkover and its own golf cart passage. If you would like to drive on the beach and park you must purchase a beach permit sticker. To access beach by car, as you leave the subdivision turn left onto Hwy 87 and left on Bowers Ln. As you enter the beach turn left then drive a short distance just past barrel 83. There are several streets that allow beach access by car but Sandpiper does not but you are only 1 miles from access by car.
