The open-plan living space is filled with natural light, creating an airy and welcoming atmosphere. Settle into the stylish living room, turn on the cozy electric fireplace, and enjoy the panoramic views. Prepare memorable group meals in the fully-stocked chef's kitchen, which features ample counter space and a large island with seating. Whether you're whipping up a quick breakfast or grilling steaks for dinner, you'll have everything you need. House Rules

- Absolutely NO SMOKING inside/outside - No parties or events - Do not engage in any illegal activities on the property - Do not leave food out. Food will attract unwanted pests. - Be sure to maintain a good level of cleanliness throughout your stay, this will make it much easier when check-out time comes! - Keep noise to a minimum during nighttime hours - Maximum occupancy is 12 people. Any additional people must be pre-approved prior to final reservation. Only registered guests (guests that are on the reservation) are allowed at the house. Any visitors must be disclosed and approved by me. - No Food, Candy or Drinks in Bedrooms. - Please do not move any furniture, indoor or outdoor, during your stay. This includes chairs, picnic tables and any and all furniture in the house. - BBQ Grill downstairs on the patio area only. Grilling on the deck is prohibited and against Galveston County ordinance. - BBQ Grill is provided. You provide the charcoal and you must clean it after use including emptying the cold ashes in a trash bag. Failure to clean the bbq grill is a $50 fine. - Please rinse sand off in the outdoor shower under the house or on any of the available water hoses. Leave sand outside and your sandy shoes on the deck by the front door. - Do not flush feminine hygiene products, or anything other than what is expected to be flushed down the toilet, it will damage the septic system. - Do not pour grease down the drains. - If you violate the septic system policy you will be subject to a fine and pay for any damages to the septic system. - Park only on the driveway. DO NOT PARK UNDER THE HOUSE. Be very careful that you do not hit the pilings with your vehicle. - If something is accidentally broken, let me know ASAP. We understand that accidents occur and things can be broken. If this happens, please contact us so we can replace or repair damaged items. However, if damage occurs due to malicious or careless behavior, responsibility for replacement or repairs may be at renters’ expense. - Please lock doors and windows upon departure. - If guests are asked to leave due to irresponsible and bad behavior, no refund will be given for lost days. - Please keep in mind that this is our home and we ask that you respect it as we would respect yours. - There will no refunds for weather, except mandatory evacuations. In the event of mandatory evacuation, the prorate share of the rental charge will be refunded. - There will be no refund or rebates given due to the malfunctioning or breakdown of appliances, air conditioning, or any other property equipment or services. When notified of an appliance issue, we will respond and work to rectify the issue as quickly as possible. - We are not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illnesses that occur while on the premises, nor are the owners responsible for loss or damage of personal property of renters. - By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all renters are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premises. Homeowner is not responsible for any accidents, injuries, or illness that may occur while on the premises or its facilities. - The beaches at Crystal Beach have no lifeguards on duty. Swimming is at visitor’s own risk.

Other Details to Note

• Security: For your safety and ours, exterior security cameras are located on the property. • Home Systems: Our home operates on a sensitive septic system. Please do not flush anything other than toilet paper. Do not pour grease down any drains. • Beach & Outdoors: Mosquitos can be present, especially in the evenings. We strongly recommend bringing bug spray! When returning from the beach, please use the outdoor shower or water hoses to rinse off all sand before entering the house. • Safety: The beaches at Crystal Beach do not have lifeguards on duty. Swimming is at your own risk. By accepting this reservation, you and your guests assume the risk of any harm arising from your use of the premises. • Starter Supplies: We provide a starter set of essentials like coffee, paper towels, toilet paper, and soaps to get you started for your stay. • No Pets: Pets are not allowed. • Minimum Age: Must be a minimum of 25 years of age to book and be in good standing. • Travel Insurance: We highly recommend purchasing traveler's insurance to protect your trip from unforeseen circumstances. A full refund will only be provided for cancellations due to mandatory tropical storm/hurricane evacuations.

Neighborhood

Established neighborhood with easy access to the beach. You will have less than a 5-minute walk or rent a golf cart for beach access. There is no car access to the beach which creates a safer environment for your family. Our home is at the end of the street where you are surrounded with a panoramic view of acreage, a pond and the Gulf. Our subdivision is at Barrel 83.

Guest Access

Guests will have private access to the entire home and its wonderful amenities, including the multi-level decks, backyard, charcoal grill, and outdoor shower. The only areas that are off-limits to guests are the owner's closet, the attic, and the garage.

Reba’a place was perfect for our family this Christmas. We loved the short walk to the beach, and the space was very spacious and comfortable for everyone. The Christmas tree was such a thoughtful touch and truly made it feel like Christmas. Communication was excellent—I received quick responses and all of my questions were answered before booking. The comfortable surroundings make you feel like you’re at home. From sitting on the deck drinking coffee to walking down to the beach .it’s a beautiful neighborhood. The tranquility of the neighborhood can never be beaten. And the friendly service is the best I’ve ever had.

Getting around Crystal Beach is most convenient by car, allowing you to explore the area and reach various amenities with ease. While staying at Fly Freebird Fly, you’ll enjoy the advantage of being just a five-minute walk from the beach, or you can rent a golf cart from one of the many local vendors for a fun and quick ride. The Sandpiper subdivision features its own private walkover and dedicated golf cart passage, making beach access simple and enjoyable for pedestrians and golf cart users. If you wish to drive and park directly on the beach, you’ll need to purchase a beach permit sticker. To access the beach by car, exit the subdivision, turn left onto Hwy 87, then left again on Bowers Ln. As you enter the beach, turn left and drive a short distance just past Barrel 83. While Sandpiper subdivision itself does not allow car access to the beach, you’re only about one mile from several streets that do provide car access, ensuring you have flexible options for enjoying the shoreline. This setup offers vacationers a blend of convenience, safety, and flexibility—whether you prefer walking, riding a golf cart, or driving, you’ll find it easy to make the most of your stay at Crystal Beach.
